Fuel analysis
Koehler Instrument Company’s K77000 Automatic Pour Point Analyser and K77001 Automatic Cloud Point Analyzer represent a state-of-the-art solution for automated determination of low-temperature flow properties of petroleum products and biodiesel fuels. These analysers conform to ASTM D5950 (Pour Point) and ASTM D5771 (Cloud Point) and correlate to a wide range of international standards, including ASTM D97, ASTM D2500, ISO, IP, DIN, and JIS methods.
The K77000 and K77001 utilise optical detection technology to objectively determine cloud point and pour point, eliminating operator subjectivity associated with manual testing. Pour point determination is performed using the automatic tilt method, while cloud point detection is achieved through precise optical sensing. These systems cover a broad temperature range from +50°C to –105°C, making them suitable for conventional fuels, lubricants, and low-temperature formulations.
Each analyser features an industrial 10.4-inch colour touchscreen, providing intuitive control, clear visualisation of temperature-versus-time profiles, and easy access to pre-programmed or user-defined test methods. Wireless Cloud Point and Pour Point heads enhance ease of handling and reduce cable interference during operation.
Calibration is fully automated through 10-point RTD calibration, including sample and jacket calibration, ensuring long-term accuracy and compliance. Integrated cooling, USB and Ethernet connectivity, and automated data handling further streamline laboratory workflows and support traceable, repeatable results.
Designed for high-throughput laboratories and compliance-driven environments, the K77000 and K77001 deliver accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in cloud and pour point testing - providing laboratories with a modern, automated solution aligned with global testing standards.
