RTK Instruments (UK) has developed a new range of LED Beacons, which provide powerful visual alarm signals in both hazardous and safe areas. The DA135 is ATEX certified for use in Zone 0, 1 or 2 hazardous areas and is available in five superbright colours. The ruggedised and encapsulated enclosure makes this an ideal choice for the harsh environments found offshore and in the chemical and petrochemical industry.The standard unit has a unique method of allowing the user to change the flash rate between single, double or triple flash by triggering control inputs. Customers can then use the same unit to indicate different site problems. A dual colour version is also available where each colour can be triggered separately from the control inputs
The DA135 can be operated alone or in conjunction with an intrinsically safe Sounder and Pushbutton to create a fully featured single point Alarm Annunciator.
