How do you maximise efficiency of oil condition monitoring?

Wind turbines, heavy equipment, and any other kind of machinery all have one thing in common, the requirement to monitor hydraulic and lube oils. This monitoring of oil is critical for performance and to prevent premature wear.

On the 3rd June 2021 we will discuss questions in the free eLearning session delivered by Petro Industry News and sponsored by Metrohm. In this session three different analytical techniques are going to be presented for determining the most critical physical and chemical parameters in oil condition monitoring.

What will the eLearning session cover and what questions will be addressed?

How do you measure critical chemical and physical oil parameters by titration, near-infrared spectroscopy, and voltammetry?

How do automated measurements of large sample series increase efficiency and reproducibility?

How NIR spectroscopy can provide results for multiple physical and chemical parameters in less than a minute?

How serial determination of water content can be automated as per revised ASTM D6304?

How to determine antioxidants in multiple samples fully automatically including sample preparation?

What is thermometric titration and how it helps to improve robustness of serial acid number testing in heavily contaminated lubricants?

After the eLearning session, attendees will be able to make well-informed decisions about which method or which combination of them suits their laboratory’s requirements best so they can take the next step to improve the efficiency of their routine analytics for oil condition monitoring.

The eLearning session also provides attendees with a certificate of attendance so Register now>>
