Revolutionising fuel testing with platform and software independence
Apr 24 2025
The latest iteration of CFR XCP TECHNOLOGY software, version 4.3, marks a significant leap forward in fuel testing technology, addressing key user needs and streamlining operational workflows. This major upgrade introduces platform and software independence, coupled with enhanced data management and engine integration, promising a more efficient and user-friendly experience.
A cornerstone of the XCP 4.3 software update is its independence from Microsoft Windows and Excel. This platform independence not only eliminates licensing concerns but also reduces potential compatibility issues and lowers IT maintenance costs.
The update introduces enhanced reporting capabilities, replacing Excel-based with professional HTML reports. These reports are easily saved, printed, and shared, simplifying the dissemination of crucial test results. Furthermore, a new database system revolutionises data management, providing users with easy access, search, and analysis of historical data. Seamless LIMS integration facilitates efficient data export, ensuring comprehensive laboratory information management.
The XCP 4.3 update provides seamless integration with other CFR products such as the Gravimetric Blending System (GBS), Engine Air Control System (EACS), and Closed-Loop System.
Direct communication from the software enables users to communicate directly with integrated systems, send fuel blends directly to the GBS, and control and adjust EACS set points
This enhanced integration streamlines operations, providing real-time feedback and improved blend control.
Beyond core functionalities, XCP 4.3 incorporates a range of user-friendly features designed to improve efficiency and usability.
CFR XCP 4.3 represents a significant advancement in fuel testing. By prioritising platform independence, enhanced data management, and seamless engine integration, this upgrade empowers users to achieve greater efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility in their testing procedures. This XCP software update solidifies the commitment to continuous innovation CFR has in empowering the fuel testing industry with a powerful and adaptable tool for the future.
