Viscosity is an essential property used to characterise petroleum fuels and lubricants performance. For a long time“green fuels”, such as biodiesel, were reserved to niche producers. Now, they are blended with traditional fossil diesel fuels to meet worldwide environmental regulations, which significantly impacts the finished products viscosity properties. As a direct consequence, the ASTM D6751 and EN 14214 specifications are requesting biofuels & biofuels blends meet ASTM D445.

The PAC Herzog HVM 472 is the state-of-art and proven lab solution for kinematic viscosity determination of fuels and lubricants, in full compliance with the ASTM D445 standard. Designed to deliver accurate and reliable results without trading off productivity, its high level of automation ensures continuous operation, ease of use, and minimal operator intervention compared to typical viscometers.

Join PAC at one of the upcoming webinar sessions and gather insight on the Herzog HVM472 viscometer. The 30-minute webinar will cover: Overview of Industry Trends – Challenges & Opportunities, Product overview & key features, Application & Case Study of Herzog HVM 472 and Overall benefits of the analyser.
