TVOC ATEX Certified For Zone 2 Areas Without Safety Barriers  

Ion Science introduces the ATEX approved 3 wire TVOC, for use without safety barriers in Zone 2 hazardous areas. The ATEX certified TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compound) monitor can be installed without barriers in a Zone 2 area, to directly replace an existing fixed VOC detector. A significant benefit to the customer is the instrument’s easy installation; saving time and reducing costs.

Designed for fixed, continuous area monitoring, TVOC provides rapid, accurate detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The 4-20mA analogue output allows TVOC to be integrated into a DCS control system to give warning or control of high VOC levels within the working environment.

The TVOC photoionisation detection (PID) cell utilises patented Fence Electrode Technology; independently verified as the best performing PID on the market. Its proven PID capabilities provide an unrivalled resistance to humidity and give faster, more consistent results than competing PID instruments.
