New research helps safety management make the right gas detection choices

ION Science’s ION Product Verification Laboratory (PVL) team recently researched to compare the ION Science Tiger XT VOC detector with two other VOC detectors available on the market. The PVL team tested and variety of crucial factors including the instruments’ response, clear-down time, detection range, precision and battery life. The results of the research was collated and presented in a clear table, available for download from ION Science’s website. While similar comparisons have been made before, ION Science were determined to deliver unbiased assessments, using only data from tests carried out in the last year.

Organisations rely heavily on personal gas detection technology to protect their personnel and action large-scale monitoring systems for staff and site safety. Buyers and end-users trust original equipment manufacturers to provide them with clear and precise technical specifications to help them to decide which gas detectors are most suited to their specific needs. ION Science understood the importance role gas detectors play in safeguarding lives and preserving the environment, by carrying out these comprehensive tests they are striving to prioritise the safety of their customers’ staff and assets.

Every detail presented in the downloadable comparison table is authentically derived; the transparency of this research becomes very clear as decision-makers are guided through the various strengths and weaknesses of each of the three gas detectors. Choosing the right gas detector can be difficult with so many options on the market, ION Science aims to help decision-makers to make choices based on transparency and accurate information to ensure the well-being of their colleagues and and the surrounding environment.
