PhoCheck+ from Ion Science (UK) has been selected by a major fuel company in Israel to detect benzene and other VOC gases at underground filling stations. The instrument was chosen to replace a competitor

product for its accurate and reliable results, upgradeability, and ease of use.

PhoCheck+ was used to demonstrate that there were no soil contaminants emitted from leaks in the underground tanks at fuel stations; a mandatory requirement by the Israeli Environmental Protection Agency.

PhoCheck+ was selected for its unique IS software and data logging facility. The instrument’s easy processing, tracking and comparison of data was a significant benefit to the operator, along with its ability to be upgraded

remotely without having to be returned to the factory. A key advantage to the customer was its ease of use, and minimum training required.
