GfG’s Polytector III G999S is a highly advanced portable gas detector designed to detect methane with unprecedented accuracy and sensitivity, making it the ideal tool for monitoring methane gas leaks and analysing pure (bio)methane.

The Polytector III G999S is equipped with specialized combination sensors, including catalytic combustion / thermal conductivity or catalytic combustion/thermal conductivity / semiconductor sensors, enabling it to detect methane in the common measuring range of 0-100% LEL, as well as in 0 to 10,000 ppm or 0-100 vol % ranges. The device also features up to three electrochemical sensors for toxic gases, oxygen, or hydrogen, and an infrared sensor for CO2.

Featuring five slots for different sensors, the Polytector III G999S can be customized to meet specific gas detection needs. It comes with an integrated pump and accessories such as a telescopic probe for easy and accurate gas detection in hard-to-reach areas. The device is certified for use in Ex zone 1, protection class IP67, making it ideal for use in hazardous environments.

The Polytector III G999S also boasts a long battery life, 3-way-alarm, a data logger, and many other advanced features that make it the go-to instrument for methane detection.
