New On-Line Vicosity Analyser at Reference Temperature

Recently released by SOFRASER (France), the Thermoset-LT is the easiest and most economical solution on the market to monitor on-line reference viscosity and maintain product quality. It is particularly fit for refining, lubricant and polymer applications.
The Thermoset-LT uses the recognised advancements of Sofraser’s MIVI viscosity sensor: excellent reliability, repeatability and large measurements capabilities. Combined with the density measurement option, it provides continuous analysis correlated to the ASTM D445, and can easily become the perfect solution for viscosity index measurement according to the ASTM 2270-04.
The Thermoset-LT is a powerful on-line process monitor that measures dynamic viscosity at reference temperature up to 10,000 cP or more, which is a significant improvement from compensated viscosity that remains sensitive to behavioral changes of the product.
With a hazardous area approved design, the Thermoset-LT is particularly simple to install next to the main process flow line directly on an existing secondary sampling loop or even on a fast loop. The fluid entering the Thermoset-LT analyser is brought to the required temperature and then re-injected into the main line after measuring its viscosity.
Specially designed to prevent clogging, the system requires low maintenance and insignificant cleaning. It has a small footprint and can be installed in a shelter (outdoors installation is possible).
Associated with the 9731 electronic and its color touchscreen display, it allows personalized and intuitive use.
The Thermoset-LT is the optimal solution for efficient analysis and monitoring of a single control point (one target viscosity point at one reference temperature) while maximising return on investment.
