With the large amounts of academic research going on in GCxGC it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters: Getting such system to deliver actionable data. Whereas researchers can spend months ‘trying to set up the right method’, PAC offers turn-key solutions for group typing middle distillates that deliver value right from installation.

PAC’s middle distillates GCxGC solution focusses on middle distillates up to 450°C Final Boiling Point, separating and quantifying Paraffins, Iso-Parafins, Naphthenes, Aromatics and Fatty Acid Methyl Esters chemical classes, and reporting both selected individual compounds and group totals. This allows for detailed reporting of various types of fuel such as Jet Fuels (including SPK and Bio-Jet), Kerosene, Diesel and Biodiesel.

The analyzer is built around reverse column configuration, flow modulation and FID, which provides superior separation power and peak capacity, best ruggedness and simple quantitation needed for routine analysis. It is completely setup with hardware, software, the right columns, and a ready-to-go analytical method (that can even be tuned to order), which comes completely tested and documented. Adding to the ‘analyzer feel’, we developed a set of representative QC and reference samples that come included to providing a solid base for excellent data consistency over time.
