PetroOxy, from Anton Paar (Austria), initiates a rapid artificial aging process and provides a complete oxidation stability analysis of petroleum products. The instrument swiftly provides clear and understandable results according to ASTM D7525 (spark-ignition fuels) and ASTM D7545 (diesel, FAME, biodiesel). PetroOxy features significant improvements in repeatability and reproducibility compared to established oxidation stability test methods for liquid fuels, which are often too time-consuming.

The compact benchtop PetroOxy tester works in exceedingly short test cycles (typically less than one hour) and is cleaned in a fast and simple procedure (less than 5 minutes).

The excellent safety design of PetroOxy features a fully automatic operation, including oxygen charging and relief under a protective lid. The small sample size of only 5 mL reduces the risks when handling fuel samples in the laboratory environment.
