Quality control checks on finished products frequently involves certification and requires the high accuracy provided, for example, by Anton Paar’s (Austria) 5- and 6-digit accuracy density meters. Usually a dedicated density meter is used only for QC checks so that contamination from process samples is avoided.

Here adding a sample changer saves time and let’s the automated system do the ‘dirty work’ for you. Also, this is particularly valuable when performing regular checks on crude oil before and after blending, and before and after desalting as well as testing used oil samples from transformers and cooling towers.
