As well as adding a sample changer or special density cell for high pressures and temperatures, a DMA Generation M density meter from Anton Paar (Austria) can also be connected to a refractometer according to ASTM D1218. Density and refractive index are then determined at the same time from the same sample which saves time and provides reliable results when analysing aviation fuels or similar finished products. Measured values are given according to your official product specifications (e.g. ASTM). This combination of instruments is the first step to a modular measuring system called the Modulyser Unlimited Class. A wide range of sample filling units and measuring modules can be added at a later date, making the Modulyser Unlimited class fit for future requirements.
