The High-Throughput Viscometer HTV is the brand new automation device from Anton Paar (Austria) for the automated viscosity measurement of up to 2000 samples a day. The HTV is the clever linking of Anton Paar’s SVM 3000 viscometers to a flexible and modular automation concept. This gives you the flexibility to enlarge the system with up to 10 modules at any time to match your sample throughput.

Precise and repeatable measurement results together with high throughput, cost-saving and time-saving are important factors for all industries. The HTV covers a whole process step from sample handling to analysis in one. Programmable cleaning cycles are included to prevent risks of contamination. The HTV is equipped with an intuitive data handling and workflow management software using established industry standard control systems (Siemens SIMATIC and FESTO CPX) and enables automatic data transfer to each LIMS.

Verification cycles of the measurement results with a reference standard are included to ensure correctness at all times. These are defined via the data handling and workflow management software. Downtimes are dramatically reduced as the modules work independently; if one module needs maintenance the other modules take over the work.

The smart modular concept of the HTV enables Anton Paar to offer customized solutions to almost all industry segments, e.g. petroindustry, chemistry, cosmetics, home care, food and life sciences.
