To check the quality of crude oil or blended bitumen and test the density of asphalt, vacuum tower bottoms or even LPG, the equipment of choice is the DMA HP, a high-temperature and high-pressure density cell. The DMA HP measures the density of all these samples at elevated temperatures (up to 200°C) and pressures up to 700 bar (14,000 psi). This digital density meter from Anton Paar (Austria) provides benefits over alternative measuring equipment: Easy handling regardless of the exact sample formulation combined with low sample volume and ensured operator safety when solid samples are heated up to high temperatures for the most accurate analysis. For R&D experts who are interested in the behaviour of crude oil deep in the ground in order to increase the efficiency of extraction, DMA HPM from Anton Paar is unrivalled for EOR studies.
