Process sensors make a significant contribution to increasing a plant's productivity. Due to the continuous inline measurement of the quality parameters, the consumption of raw materials and energy is optimised and production is maximised. Anton Paar's (Austria) inline sensors are easy to integrate. They are not sensitive to changes in process conditions and can be installed directly in the main line or tank. Installation work is kept to a minimum. Once fitted, the robust sensors operate for years without maintenance as there are no moving parts and no operating costs. You can fit a sensor and forget about it, simply relying on the accurate measurement values and long life. Today, Anton Paar density meters which were installed in the mid-1980s for measuring the concentration of boric acid are still delivering reliable values with the same high level of accuracy as on their first day in operation.
Process density meters are ideal for highly accurate online metering of petroleum products. True density, temperature and all API values are calculated according to ASTM D1250. All sensors have ATEX and FM certification, PTB and BEV approval.
To monitor your important processes with double reliability it is important to conduct a batch inspection of process samples. Cross-checking the performance of your process equipment at regular intervals using a DMA Generation M density meter in the laboratory increases the certainty that production is proceeding as it should. Constant monitoring with reliable quality control prevents out-of-spec products.
With its LIMS connection, a density meter from Anton Paar also ensures you can have quick and paper-less documentation and that results are available for monitoring purposes anywhere in the network.
