For simultaneous viscosity and density measurements on aviation fuel at low temperatures like -20 °C, Anton Paar (Austria) provides the SVM 3000 Stabinger viscometer which easily fits on your laboratory bench. SVM 3000 only requires 2.5 mL of sample and also has low solvent and power consumption. It can be used for single samples or with a sample changer to analyse up to 96 samples automatically. This measurement of density and kinematic viscosity is suitable for all types of aviation fuel according to ASTM D7042. This gives results equivalent to ASTM D445.
