The Lovis 2000 M/ME microviscometer from Anton Paar enables fast and highly accurate viscosity measurements of polymer solutions with automatic calculations of up to 13 polymer parameters. Lovis 2000 M/ME offers unique polymer software features, enabling simple and automatic determination of intrinsic viscosity, molar mass, relative viscosity, and other polymer-specific parameters. With its built-in Peltier thermostat, the rolling-ball capillary viscometer provides high-precision temperature control. Due to the closed system, any contamination and evaporation can be avoided. Lovis 2000 M/ME is often used for low-viscosity liquids but can also be used for viscosity measurement on samples with a viscosity of up to 10000 mPa.s, at any temperature from 5 °C to 100 °C. Lovis 2000 M/ME is also suitable for measuring highly corrosive samples. Due to excellent chemical resistance of the PCTFE capillaries, Lovis 2000 M/ME can be used for chemicals as corrosive as hydrofluoric acid. The microviscometer is available as a stand-alone viscometer or in combination with a DMA M density meter for simultaneous determination of dynamic viscosity and density.
