R. Stahl’s (Germany) Yodalex range of signalling devices for hazardous areas includes manual call points suitable for use in Ex zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. The units have been designed for installation in harsh environments, such as the petrochemical industry and the oil and gas sector. They meet the requirements of EN54-11 and comply with the ATEX, IECEx and GOST-R specifications.

Manufactured from corrosion-resistant glass-reinforced polyester (GRP), the Ex d flameproof enclosure features high-tolerance machined flame paths constructed to withstand extreme pressures. The lightweight devices are available as Break Glass and Push Button versions. They are finished in weather-resistant red paint, with other colours available on request. The manual call points provide IP66 protection and are suitable for a -55 to +70 °C temperature range. Featuring four M20 cable gland entry points, they allow for flexible installation. Certified stopping plugs and glands are included in delivery. Optionally, the units can be equipped with an integrated red LED to indicate operation.
