New Gas Detection Rack Mount Control System

The new digital Modbus rack mount controller TA2048MB, which is designed and manufactured by MilRam Technology (USA), features a 48channel system with 3 separate 16 channel Modbus networks, local or remote power supply options and multidrop Smarter Transmitter (sensor) Networks, which eliminates separate costly wiring to each Transmitter. The TA2048MB also includes RS485 digital Modbus RTU; half or full duplex configuration, four relays (SPST), 10 Amp. common to all channels on each Network. Users can select energized/nonenergized and latching/nonlatching function. The controller offers Low, Mid, High and Fault relays, LED alarm indicators an audible buzzer alarm, a backlit 16 characters x 2 lines LCD display, autoscrolls to provide channel data and fault conditions.

This unit has a simple front panel, push button channel setup and offers redundant storage of configuration parameters for highest reliability, it is also available with rack mount or wall mount enclosures. An explosion proof version is available. Optional extras include; remote relay modules, a remote analogue output module, and a remote digital output module. TA2048MB is Modbus enabled and can be installed at any point on RS485 network to minimize wiring. Used with any MilRam Smarter Transmitter this system can detect toxic gas/LEL/VOCs/ Oxygen as well as hundreds of different gases and vapours.
