Detcon’s (USA) condulet enclosures are designed to house a wide range of instruments used in the detection, monitoring, measuring, and/or controlling of gases within hazardous areas.

The Aluminum J- Box has a 4 ¼”  internal diameter, the Standard 316SS J- Box has a 3 ½” internal diameter and the Mini 316SS J-Box has a 2 ½” internal diameter. The enclosures are rated NEMA 7 explosion proof, and feature taper threaded hubs for ground continuity.

The enclosures serve as pull and splice boxes, interconnect lengths of conduit, and provide access to conductors for easy maintenance and system changes. Both the Mini and the Standard are made of electropolished 316 Stainless Steel. The Mini features a solid cover enclosure while the Standard and the Aluminum offer an optional solid cover or glass lens. These enclosures are

CSA approved to Canadian and UL requirements with ATEX pending.
