Optek’s AF26 dual-channel absorption sensor precisely measures color and / or concentrations inline to assure product quality, maximize yield, minimize product loss, and detect contaminants.

Constructed for sanitary CIP/SIP procedures, the AF26 sensor can accommodate hazardous area classifications, extreme temperatures (up to 464 °F) and high pressures (up to 325 bar).  The AF26 is available in a wide variety of line sizes, process connections and wetted materials. The optical windows are made of single crystal sapphire and provide superior resistance to all abrasive and corrosive media.  NIST-traceable validation accessories guarantee reliable and repeatable measurements in numerous process applications:

  • Carryover Detection in Distillate Streams
  • Color Monitoring of Refined Fuels
  • Water Detection in Crude Oil or Refined Fuels
  • Oil Detection in Water
  • SO2 Detection in Water / Monitor SO2 Gas
  • Monitor Chlor-alkali Electrolysis - Chlorine Turbidity in Brine
  • Chlorohydrin Process Monitoring
  • Chemical Concentration Monitoring
  • TOC Monitoring

Optek is the world’s largest and most successful manufacturer of photometric instrumentation for industrial process automation.  With over 25,000 installations, we will continue to lead the industry with ingenious innovations, superior service, and 24-hour support.
