Optek’s TF16-N NIR absorption sensor measures solids, turbidity, concentration, consistency, and optical density. The dual-beam design compensates for background color, or color changes. Designed to control and automate a variety of demanding industrial gas and liquid processes, the TF16-N monitors inline for precise, real-time results that are repeatable.

Constructed for virtually all sanitary CIP/SIP procedures the AF26 sensor can accommodate all hazardous area classifications, extreme temperatures and pressures.  The sensor body is 316L stainless steel with sapphire optical windows. NIST-traceable validation accessories are available.

Common applications include:

  • Color Monitoring of Refined Fuels
  • Water in Oil / Oil in Water
  • Carryover Detection in Distillate Streams
