Dual Tech Sensor Family Introducing the Hybrid Technology

N.E.T. (Italy) proudly presents the new “Genius” sensor family, the first and only sensor that offers a dual technology together in a single sensor housing. The “Genius” sensor is composed by combinations of NDIR, electrochemical cells and catalytic sensors. The standard configuration is constituted by an industrial pellistor sensor of high quality and reliability and the NDIR sensor IRNET-P that has a analogue voltage output that is linearised and temperature compensated. The IR sensor has been SIL 2 approved by TŰV and complies to EN50271.

The sensor has a standard diameter of 32 mm and can house two sensors, powered by a single power supply of 4.4-5.5 V. The two analogue sensor outputs can be selected to be used singularly or together in order to suit the requirements of the user. This gives the opportunity to combine the advantages of the two technologies.

The “Genius” sensors are available in various configurations; of gas, range and number of gases sensed.
