FLIR Advanced Thermal Solutions (Germany) have released a new online streaming video* that demonstrates the capabilities of its GF-Series thermal imaging cameras that make them perfect for gas leak detection applications.

Driven by operational safety, revenue loss and minimising environmental damage considerations - FLIR GF-Series cameras are increasingly being adopted by plants across the world for the safe visualisation and documentation of gas leaks.

A FLIR gas detection camera can scan large areas rapidly and pinpoint leaks in real time. GF Series cameras are ideal for monitoring plant that is difficult to reach with contact measurement tools and literally thousands of components can be scanned per shift without the need to interrupt the process. Using thermal imaging to detect gas leaks is a proven technique to reduce repair downtime, provide process verification and is exceptionally safe, allowing potentially dangerous leaks to be monitored from several meters away.
