For use in hazardous areas Winkler (Germany) provides a new range of heated lines for various applications in environmental and process technology.

These lines and hoses are approved as complete systems and come with EC type examination certificates. They can be used in zones 1/2 (gas) and 21/22 (dust) and due to their design they can be

adapted to a wide range of custom applications.

High quality, tested and approved materials are used in constructing these lines and allow for ambient temperatures between –40°C and +80°C which makes them suitable for a broad spectrum of applications. This extended use as low as –40°C (as opposed to the standard –20°C) meets the increased demands of Winkler’s customers and shows the consequently high quality material selection for the components used.

Where required, certified Pt100 temperature sensors for intrinsically safe circuits can be provided. Winkler also offers suitable equipment to control the process temperatures and to limit the maximum permitted temperatures (temperature class T6, T5, T4, T3). A large selection of fittings with fixed or removable conductive inner core complete the Winkler program of heated lines for use in hazardous areas.

Detailed documentation and all required certificates for making up an explosion protection document are, of course, included.
