ESI Technology (UK) has been manufacturing pressure measurement solutions for oil & gas, sub-sea, offshore and drilling applications for more than 20 years. The company has adapted to the demanding environments of these industries with continued development of a comprehensive product range of specialist transducers and transmitters.

A good example of a product with a universally proven track record is the PR3913, primarily used on sub sea control modules, chemical injection valves and ROV systems. It provides a long term and durable solution for accurate pressure measurement at extreme depth.

Housed in fully welded housing machined in NACE approved materials, the PR3913 can be submersed to depths of up to 9000metres and offers secondary containment to 1600bar for environmental safety. The series also incorporates an optional dual redundant version, which ensures that stable and accurate pressure measurement is guaranteed in the event of damage to one of the sensors. The unique Silicon-on-sapphire sensors provide outstanding performance and excellent stability with virtually no hysteresis. SOS technology enables the sensor to endure high over pressures and provides superb corrosion resistance.

In short, the PR3913 is a superior solution to the challenges of sub-sea pressure measurement with an impressive 25 year service life. As well as this, ESI also provide added services that go beyond industry standards such as optional ATEX certification to II 1 GD EEX ia IICT4, hyperbaric testing to 4000metres, ESS testing to ISO 13628.6, and full documentation control support. Every angle is covered by ESI to ensure each and every one of their customers needs is met.
