Analytical Instrument Manufacturer Announces Strategic Acquisition

TE Instruments (the Netherlands) Management team announces the acquisition of Euroglass B.V. per July 1st 2014. The acquisition is in line with the company’s strategy to maintain full ownership in all products and disciplines related to the Trace Elemental – combustion analyser market. The integration of all personnel and activities will be completed by the end of 2014.

Euroglass B.V. develops, manufacturers, repairs and services specialised laboratory glassware for combustion analysers and custom glassware for global key accounts. The company origins from former Euroglas/Thermo in the Netherlands and supplies all factory original glassware for related instruments, as well as the TE Instruments XPLORER series.

The integration of Euroglass B.V. is the perfect addition to TE Instruments in terms of speed of delivery of spare glass parts and flexibility of special customer requests. It aligns seamlessly with the substantial growth TE Instruments has experienced in Q1 and Q2 of 2014. Strategic Partnerships are in place to meet the increasing opportunities, especially in key growth regions like Russia (EPAC), USA (EST Analytical), India (Labindia) and China (TEGENT).

Trace Elemental Instruments (the Netherlands) manufactures the smallest bench space laboratory instrument for the analysis of Total Nitrogen, Total Sulphur, and Total Halogens; the XPLORER series enables optimal application flexibility for liquid, solid and Gas/LPG matrices, as well as AOX, TOX, EOX and POX applications.
