Industrial Safety Technologies (IST) is proud to announce and welcome Kevin McKeigue as the company's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this newly created position, McKeigue will oversee sales and marketing efforts for IST (USA) companies Detcon and Gas Measurement Instruments (GMI).

McKeigue has held senior positions at both Honeywell and MSA, and joins IST with 20 years of experience in developing, marketing, and selling a wide range of gas detection products, sensors and control systems.

"IST is building an impressive portfolio of businesses focused in the industrial technology space with established technology and market leadership positions," says McKeigue. "I am excited to be a part of the team and look forward to developing our worldwide sales and marketing strategies to maximise our potential."

McKeigue brings experience and knowledge of digital and wireless protocols, as well as technical expertise in gas sensing methods that include electrochemical, catalytic, photo-ionisation, photo-acoustic, infrared, surface acoustic wave, and cadmium zinc telluride technologies.

"Kevin has a great level of knowledge about our industry and products which will be invaluable for our future growth," says IST CEO, Adam Markin. "We are excited to have him as part of our team."

McKeigue has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a MS degree in Operations Management from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute.
