TheMeasurement Systems division of Cameron (UK) have announced the acquisition of Jiskoot Limited, a world leader in the design, manufacture and commissioning of sampling, blending and multiphase systems for the global oil and gas industry.

According to divisional Vice President Pat Holley, the deal is clearly a win-win situation for both Cameron and Jiskoot. “Over the past three
years Cameron has executed a strategy to strengthen its ability to deliver solutions to the full spectrum of the oil and gas industry including exploration, production, processing, transportation and distribution”.

By acquiring the Measurement Systems division in 2005 (formerly NuFlo Measurement Systems), it established a high-quality and wellrespected
foundation in measurement and control.

Subsequent acquisitions, such as Caldon, Inc., have allowed the division to expand its technical capability to include fiscal as well as more highly engineered applications. The Jiskoot acquisition is a logical – and highly valuable – progression of this strategy,” he explained.

For Jiskoot, the power and capital behind a company of Cameron’s size and reputation allows the operation to take advantage of emerging global
opportunities for larger projects and engineered sampling systems. The acquisition also serves to combine Jiskoot’s market leadership with the
reputation and product portfolios of Cameron’s current sampling brands Clif Mock® and True Cut®. “Without question, this merger of technologies and products positions Cameron as the dominant provider of sampling, blending and multi-phase solutions across the entire oil and gas value chain,” said Mark Jiskoot. Going forward, Mark Jiskoot will assume the leadership responsibilities for all sampling activities within the
Measurement Systems division.
