The latest addition to eralytics (Austria) flash point tester family ERAFLASH LT is the unique solution for measurements of samples with a flash point around room temperature or below. Its stacked Peltier design leads to a 35% increased cooling speed compared to other flash point testers, saving valuable time when running a measurement. Additionally it can be operated at 35 °C (63 °F) below ambient temperature without any external cooling. Using ERFLASH LT with an external cooler allows reaching an unmatched oven temperature of -40 °C (-40 °F).

With this design it is the first commercially available off-the-shelf flash point tester that is able to measure flash points below -30 °C (-22 °F). Due to the small required sample amount of 1 ml or 2 ml it is the ideal solution for expensive or dangerous products.

It works in full compliance with the Continuously Closed Cup Flash Point methods ASTM D6450 and D7094. Additional pre-programmed correlation methods are provided that cover most closed cup standards like ASTM D56 and D93 or ISO 2719, as well as flash/no-flash methods (e.g. ASTM D3828).
