Crude Oils Analysis with Topnir

Topnir’s innovative solutions provide accurate predictions of crude oils (neat and in mixture) and gives in real time, a multiple list of crude properties such as true boiling point (TBP), distillation curve (Simdis), crude assays, density API, viscosity, total acid number (TAN), pour point, sulphur, SARA (saturates, aromatics, resins, asphaltenes) and any other properties if required.

In doing so, Topnir allows both feed-forward and feed-back process control strategies through a multi-stream online analyser. Feed-forward strategy during CDU feed changes allow advanced process control (APC) to achieve new operational targets quickly and offer better tracking crude mixtures in feed tanks.

The benefits from crude analysis are a function of the economics, but the reduction of feed transition time can yield a magnitude of gains, keeping the distillation unit close to the optimum set of cut points and throughput.
