If you are one of Polymer Char's (Spain) customers, or are in the process of acquiring one of their instruments, and you would like to learn more about the equipment in regards of daily operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting procedures or calculations, then the Users Training Meeting (UTM) is the right course for you.
The UTM program is being held in Valencia, Spain, and is alternated with other venues such as China or the United States.
The program is designed to provide responses to questions like: Which are the basic polyolefin characterisation techniques? How can I operate my instrument? How can I improve the handling of my instrument? What should I do as preventive maintenance? Which steps should I follow for troubleshooting? How should I interpret my results?
The program may be focused on different topics depending on the instruments the attendees are interested in: Introduction to Polyolefin Characterisation - General Techniques. (Only in Valencia), Hardware and Software Overview, Maintenance Philosophy, Techniques Description: Manual Screen + Process Data + Results, Instrument Daily Operation (Control Software, Calculations Software, Results Understanding and Applications), and Process Data Interpretation and Troubleshooting.
When an instrument is acquired a customised training is held in the customer’s facilities. It is highly recommended to combine both this on-site training and the Users Training Meeting. Current Customers who have been using their instrument for a long time may also find this program interesting as it will allow them to refresh their knowledge and learn the latest information in this field.
