The JFTOT, Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Tester, of PAC/Alcor is a brilliant device for tracking the amount of contaminations in jet fuel. But this device can only work properly if its test performance is validated frequently. E.L.S., European Lab Services (Belgium), provides a trustworthy verification and verification program according to ISO 17025 accreditation.

E.L.S. makes sure every step of the ASTM D3241 has been checked thoroughly before their job is done. This ASTM method, specifically for the JFTOT device, describes internal calibration of the temperature sensor on 3 points with standards, verification of pump speed, verification and control of the differential pressure, volume verification, programming of the offsets, testing of a reference product, etc.
