Cannon Instrument Company (USA) offer a low temperature (sub-zero) automatic viscometer, the miniAV-LT. The miniAV-LT is designed as an affordable sub-zero alternative to traditional labour intensive manual Kinematic Viscosity measurement of low temperature viscosity. The miniAV-LT is ideal for -20°C measurement of jet fuel according to ASTM D1655 and STAN 91:91.

The miniAV-LT is also applicable to -40°C testing of hydraulic fluids, turbine and transformer oils. The new design allows the bath to quickly warm to +30°C for easy automated cleaning and drying with standard solvents (eliminating common moisture issues).

The miniAV-LT is built on the rugged and well-tested miniAV platform–an instrument which has redefined affordability when in bench-level automated viscometer technology.
