New CSA-Certified RT-30EX Transmitter Series

AW-GEAR METERS (US) has announced a brand new product series, the RT-30 flow transmitter with local display. This new transmitter series is available in both an Explosion-proof version (RT-30EX) for hazardous area applications such as offshore chemical injection or industrial paint spray booths, and a non-explosion proof model.

Designed with the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industries in mind, this flow transmitter is CSA certified for use in the US and Canada, and is a drop-in replacement for the AW Gear Meters RT-15 transmitter. Advanced technology has allowed for more capabilities including: a built in 30-point lineariser, frequency output in addition to 2 limit outputs (opto isolated), extended power supply range of 9 to 24 VDC and backlit LCD display. Software improvements allow for selectable test functions including frequency generator and programmable current outputs.

Each RT-30 offers optional HART® communication protocol for monitoring and programming. Additional benefits include: options for remote mounting, 4-20mA and frequency outputs, seamless thread-in installation, flexible mounting with 360° rotation and NEMA 4X weather-proof enclosure.
