The PetroOxy from Petrotest Instruments (Germany) was engineered to improve traditional oxidation stability test methods for Gasoline (ASTM D525, ISO 7536), Diesel (ASTM D2274), Biodiesel (EN 14112) and Biodiesel Blends (EN 15751) which are far too time consuming and labor-intensive to be used for spot checking product quality or for process monitoring and control. The correlation between EN 15751 and EN 16091 was proven in interlaboratory tests.

The compact PetroOXY tester offers very fast test cycles (typically less than one hour), improved user safety, easy sample handling, small sample size of 5 ml,

a fast and simple cleaning procedure as well as fully automatic operation including oxygen charging and relief. It provides clear and understandable results with significant improvements in repeatability and reproducibility.

The PetroOxy is an excellent tool for everyone involved in the development, production, storage and use of fuels including Biodiesel (FAME) and fuel additives.
