Fast C1 to C5 Measurement

Baseline (USA) announces the release of the PetroAlert Series 9100 Gas Chromatograph for fast measurement of light hydrocarbons during oil and gas exploration. More specifically, measurement of C1 to C5 (methane, ethane, propane, butanes and pentanes) can be accomplished in a 30 second time period and provides a measurement range from low ppm to high percent levels.

The PetroAlert’s speed and accuracy enables the geologist monitoring the site to analyse both quantitatively and qualitatively the dynamics of the drill site. Detecting hydrocarbon gases while drilling allows for timely evaluation of the well’s potential making the mudlogging process more efficient.

Features of the Series 9100 include, fully integrated with powerful GC software, eliminating the need for an external PC, programmable touchscreen and USB interface, remote access and control, automatic calibration, internal data storage and unattended operation.
