Generate Gas Standards from Liquids with Ease

Analytical laboratories may require calibration standards from compounds which are liquid at room temperature.

Aromatics such as Benzene, Toluene and Xylene and many other organic solvents or Siloxane are difficult to acquire!

LiqMix, from AlyTech (France), is the perfect instrument for those applications.

Based on the association of 1 Mass Flow Controller for liquid and 1 or more Mass Flow Controllers for gas, going together in an evaporating chamber, LiqMix evaporates a liquid standard into a gas stream, providing the ability to generate a range of standards at different concentrations.

A heated line connected to the analyser avoids any re-condensation up to the delivery point.

The GasMix LiqMix dedicated software allows the automatic generation of gas standards at different concentrations. It controls the temperature set points for the evaporator and the heated line, ensuring that the newly generated gas is kept in a gaseous phase up to the injection point of the analyser. Easy to use, this software includes an Audit Trail ensuring total traceability of each operation.

The GasMix LiqMix applications are numerous, and include: Generation of siloxane standards (issue of silicone containing contaminants) for Biogas plants, Generation of ethanol and phenol standards (efficiency evaluation of charcoal), and Generation of humidity standards (sensor validation).
