The Automated Corrosion Analyser for ASTM D7548, NACE TM-0172, and ASTM D665, from AD Systems (France), will be participating in the upcoming joint ASTM/NACE Inter-Laboratory Study that will compare NACE TM-0172 to the new ASTM D7548 Method for correlation data. The ILS should be completed for the ASTM June 2014 Meeting in Indianapolis. The CT10 automatically determines the exact percentage of corroded area on test specimens using a CCD camera and a proprietary technique virtually eliminating operator subjectivity.
