Rugged and Reliable OEM Viscometer Sensor

Sofraser’s (France) 30 years of experience in viscosity measurement technology has resulted in the vibrating rod. This sensor offers instant viscosity and temperature measurements in a less than 3 kg sensor. It is simple, rugged, reliable with no wear part and no maintenance. It operates in any position and is easy to install.

This OEM sensor is specially designed with highly customised parts and is suitable for a wide range of applications (petroleum industry, fuel oil combustion monitoring, marine, food industry, ink and printing industry, chemical industry…).

Sofraser’s sensor measures the viscosity range from 1 - 100 cP to 100 - 10 000 cP, (other ranges are available on request). The sensor can operate at conditions of up to 180°C and 40 bars. The sensor is manufactured in 316L stainless steel or many other materials on request. It is matched with electronics including customised outputs according to requirements (4-20 mA, RS 232, RS 485, display).
