Fully automatic kinematic viscometer for highly viscous oil, petroleum, asphalt and petrochemical samples at high temperatures

The BitUVisc viscometer from Omnitek is a compact, automatic viscometer that fully complies with ASTM D445 and meets ASTM D2170 requirements. BitUVisc can process samples with viscosities of up to 120,000 mm²/s, it has been designed for high temperature and high viscosity applications with the standard configuration providing viscosity measurement up to 150°C and sample preheating up to 200°C.· 

Measuring and cleaning are fully automated and include an innovative and highly efficient viscometer tube cleaning feature. This highly sophisticated instrument has a built-in preheater and offers precise and reliable results with even unstable samples (ie vacuum residues, additives, crude, waxes, heavy fuel oils, polymers and asphalt) thanks to Omnitek’s special Duplo viscometer tubes. The BitUVisc’s viscometer tubes are based on the proven Ubbelohde design and are easy to exchange. This instrument is precise, versatile and conforms to the relevant ASTM, EN, ISO, JIS, AASHTO and DIN standards.
