Introducing the SHL 300 Ex hand lamp certified for use in potentially explosive areas of Zones 0 and 20, which features a number of innovative functions that maximise its use in highly explosive operational areas and for ease of operation.     Explosion proof lights (intrinsically safe lights) pass ATEX safety standards proving they will not trigger an explosion when used in areas where flammable petrochemical vapours and/or pulverised dust exist or have the potential to exist in the atmosphere.   SHL300Ex has applications in upstream well head testing, tank farm maintenance, vessel inspection, confined space entries , visual inspection of reactors, during shut down and plant turn around, maintenance and inspection in Zone 0 hazardous areas, onsite fire departments,  LNG carriers.………etc., SHL300Ex is a rechargeable hand lamp, with IP 65 rating; 4,000 / 9,000 Lux illumination and with an operating time of 9hr / 4 hrs (50% / 100% light output). The device also boasts, amongst its many functions, a fully integrated emergency and flashing light function complete with optional diffusers and coloured filters, which can quickly and easily be fitted into the SHL 300 Ex units.   Utilising 3 high power 3 watt LED’s and developed by taking the fire fighting services equipment standards (DIN 14642) for explosion protected hand lamps into consideration, the SHL 300 Ex not only offers operator brightest hand-held spotlight of its kind, but also delivers exceptionally high operational reliability, due to the LED’s 100,000 hour service life and together with the devices inbuilt ‘intelligent controller’ assures operators of exceptionally high illumination power, even in the event of a single LED failure. Ideally suitable for either 110 – 230 V AC mains or 12/24 V DC vehicle operation, the charging station can be fixed in the place either vertically or horizontally.   SHL300Ex has been designed to keep you safe in hazardous areas where potentially explosive gases, vapours and dusts may be present while providing the high illumination light that you need to get the job done.
