RTK Instruments Ltd (UK) announce the launch of their DA132 Intrinsically Safe Multitone Sounder. ATEX and IECEx certified to Ex II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 and with an output greater than 100dBA, this Sounder is ideally suited for use in areas of high ambient noise. Additionally, for extreme noise levels, it can be linked with RTK’s DA135 Intrinsically Safe Beacon to combine audible and visual warnings.
The DA132 Sounder has a choice of 32 tones, including all the major international standards, all of which are selectable using a DIL switch. The unit is easy to install as all the connections are made to the base and the sounder head ‘twists and clicks’ into the base on commissioning. With the IP65 rugged housing, the DA132 Sounder is suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions of oil, gas and chemical industries.
