Gas Transceiver Offer Gateway toWireless Modbus™

Detcon’s (USA) Model RXT-300 is a new wireless mesh-network transceiver designed to transmit signal data in a wide range of industrial applications. The transceiver operates at a universally acceptable frequency of 2.4GHz. Model RXT-300 uses direct sequence spread spectrum wireless mesh technology. Processing power is shared among transceivers allowing each one to act as both a router and repeater within a network. This unique and innovative technology allows transceivers to "hop" through neighboring devices and automatically route around congestion and line-of-sight obstacles to communicate. The Model RXT-300 wireless transceiver has a 3-mile line-of-sight range that can be extended up to 15 miles with high gain antenna. Signal data can be analogue 4-20mA DC or serial MODBUS™ with a network capacity of up to 32 devices. Electrical classification is Class 1, Division 1. Operating temperature range is -40 to +85oC.
