Blackline Safety is pleased to have recently launched its customer-informed innovation, the G7, to audiences around the world.

“Traditional gas detectors were ‘disconnected,’ the only person alerted to the life-threatening danger of gas in the ambient air was the worker themselves.” says Mr. Barry Moore, VP Product Development for Blackline Safety. “Businesses historically relied on workers to rescue themselves. Now, with G7, a team of employees in the vicinity can be alerted in real-time to their co-worker's exact location. Knowing  the concentration of hazardous gases around the individual, responders are able to take proper precautions while they rescue their fellow employee from danger.”

Blackline Safety's G7 is designed, developed and manufactured in Canada to meet the safety needs of commercial and industrial companies who haeen searching for an integrated and wireless solution to improve overall safety. The G7 goes farther and helps reduce costs with the addition of revolutionary interchangeable and configurable gas sensing cartridges. No other safety maker currently currently offers a portable safety device with the expanded capabilities of real-time awareness on the concentrations of gases in a hazardous area without the costly additional infrastructure of localised systems such as WiFi.

Real-time reporting of incidents and even a mapping of low level exposures create a visual "heat map" for organisations to become more efficient and proactive by addressing discernible leaks of gases within a facility or plant.

Blackline's Management team's experience in manufacturing gas detection products stems from early BW Technologies days in the 1990s and 2000s when it was one of Canada's fastest growing companies.

Blackline’s safety monitoring portfolio empowers organisations in global industries such as petroleum and chemical in their need for enhanced safety whether people work alone or in groups.

Providing real-time safety incident awareness, with an ability to escalate to customised emergency response protocols, Blackline Safety delivers confidence and help within minutes.
