Winters (Canada) launches an email service for end users to alert them when their test certificates for installed instrumentation is near expiration. Test certificates typically carry a 1-year validity period. To ensure that pressure gauges and thermometers are operating normally as specified, and these sensing instruments are measuring accurately, calibration and the issuing of test certificates are recommended annually.

Registration of Winters test certificates with the email service ensures proper documentation. Registration can be made easily online through Winters’ website (www.winters.com/tc). An email address is required. Three reminder emails will be sent: 8, 4, and 2 weeks before the original expiration date. Winters test certificates are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.).
