Eliminating Uncertainty in Natural Gas Sampling
Aug 08 2013
VE Technology (UK) has brought long-overdue innovation to the science of sampling. Proud producers of the VE Sampling System and the VE Thermowell, which both deliver unparalleled safety, speed of response and accuracy of result thanks to the numerous technological advances introduced to the industry through these products.
The VE sample system comprises 3 parts: 1) the patented VE sample probe, 2) the VE integrated sub-micron filtration / sample heater / pressure-flow control device, and 3) the VE Analyser Interface Module; allowing safe, swift delivery of fresh sample to any analyser, in the perfect condition needed for advanced analytical instruments.
Safety, responsiveness and perfect preservation of the sample identity from source to analyser are at the heart of all VE Technology products, and ensure a truly representative, reliable and verifiable sampling solution to many, diverse applications. Furthermore, VE Technology can deliver this in an on-pipeline integrated unit. This makes speed and efficiency soar, and installation and running costs plummet!
There are many additional technological features of the probe and sample system that combine harmoniously to achieve the highest possible performance. Comparison tests have been performed that demonstrate the superior sampling performance, and if that wasn’t enough VE Technology have integrated a ‘validation’ port, allowing a test gas to be passed through the sample system to verify that the sample is being delivered swiftly and uncorrupted to the analyser.
VE Technology have over 200 installations with National Grid in the UK, global experience with numerous major Oil & Gas companies, and application for thousands more over the coming years as customers, legislation and standards demand more in the sampling and analysis industry.
