GE Analytical Instruments (USA) is pleased to announce the new Sievers InnovOx On-Line Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyser. Like the InnovOx Laboratory model, the new InnovOx On-Line is designed for the industrial wastewater, environmental, and process water industries.

The InnovOx (short for “Innovative Oxidation” technology) uses a patentpending technology, Supercritical Water Oxidation (SWCO). SCWO combines high temperature and pressure to convert an aqueous sample matrix into supercritical water, a phase in which the water is neither liquid nor gas, and where Supercritical Water Oxidation can occur. This results in more efficient oxidation, better TOC measurement accuracy and precision, and the elimination of problematic sample contamination after analysis.

The Sievers InnovOx measures from 0.5 to 50,000 parts per million (ppm) TOC. It features extended calibration stability, user-configurable alarms and outputs, an Ethernet Web browser interface for remote monitoring, and an intuitive colour touch-screen display. The InnovOx is extremely easy to set up, operate, and maintain, and offers a low cost of ownership.
